CORRECTING OR EDITING A WRONGLY MARKED STUDENT'S ATTENDANCE RECORD

NOTE: Only users who have manager access rights in Educlen can carry out this operation.

Any teacher who makes mistake in attendance marking needs to go to any of the members of the school management to help in correcting the wrong.

Steps to follow by the manager is detailed below..

1. Click on STUDENTS on the sidebar.

2. Click on ATTENDANCE on the horizontal menu bar at the top.

3. One the page that appears, select the already marked class whose attendance is to be corrected from the drop-down menu and then click on the LOAD CLASS button on the right of the drop-down menu to load attendance register for the class.

4. A new page will load containing the register of the already marked attendance as seen in this figure:

Note that the first student on the list named "Aaron" was marked "present" in school. However, the teacher later realised that he made a mistake. He therefore needs to mark him "absent." What should the manager do to correct this?

6.  Click on the student's ID as indicated in the figure below.

7. After the clicking, a new page will open containing the marked attendance records of the student for the day and new records options.

8. Go to the "NEW RECORDS" row and adjust the options to what you want. Here, we are changing the "present" status of Aaron to "absent" status. Since he is absent, it is certain that he didn't pay any money. We are also changing the "paid" to "not paid".

9. Then click CHANGE button to effect the change. That is all. Just click OK on the alert that will appear to navigate to the next page. If you want to confirm the validity of the change, you can follow STEP 3 above again. This will show that Aaron is now absent as can be seen in the figure below:

That is all! So easy to do!
